The Ellises - brothers and brother airmen

George Ivan Ellis was 21 when he died in a Short Stirling heavy bomber of 149 Squadron, RAF, which was shot down into the North Sea near Denmark.  His story can be found here:

Charles Raymond Ellis was trained in Canada and was in a Sunderland flying boat over the Bay of Biscay when he died.  His Squadron, 228, had the job of hunting U-boats.  Sometimes the U-boats won their battle.  His story is here:
