DEATHS.
HALSEY. — On February 1, 1929, at Milton, Alma Jessie, dearly beloved wife of Walter Blackie Halsey, of Chaucer street. Milton, and beloved daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Simonsen, of Alexandra; aged 24 years. Deeply mourned. -Otago Witness, 5/2/1929.
The sudden death of Mrs Alma Jessie Halsey, wife of Mr. W. B. Halsey and fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs Chas. Simonsen, of Alexandra, took place at Milton last Friday after a very brief illness. Mrs Halsey, who was 24 years of age, and leaves a family of four children, contracted rheumatic fever which was followed by a fatal heart seizure. The deceased was buried at Alexandra last Sunday. -Alexandra Herald and Goldfields Gazette, 6/2/1929.
