WORK RESUMED. 

The Kaitangata mine trouble has ended and the men resumed work this morning. 

SURFING FATALITY. 

Surfing fatality occurred at Tomahawk beach on Saturday afternoon, when Agnes Elliot Hendry, aged 18, employed at the Roslyn Mills, while bathing with her sister and another girl, got beyond her depth and when brought ashore first aid measures to restore animation were unsuccessful.   -Dunstan Times, 14/2/1921.


DROWNED WHILE BATHING

Agnes Elliot Hendry, 19 years of age, was accidentally drowned while bathing at Tomahawk Beach yesterday afternoon. A heavy sea was running, and the girl was carried into the breakers. She was seen to be floating in the water, and was got ashore with some difficulty. First aid measures were adopted, but with no success.  -Dominion, 14/2/1921.


DEATHS.

HENDRY. — On February 12, 1921 (accidentally drowned), Agnes Elliot (Ella), dearly beloved eldest daughter of Robert and Anne Hendry, of 80 Kenmure road, Mornington; aged 18 years and 8 months. Deeply mourned. — Interred to-day at the Anderson's Bay Cemetery. — A. S. Archer and Co., undertakers.  -Evening Star, 14/2/1921.
