Ronald Stuart Johnson was killed accidentally, as was a Corporal Ellis, whose information on his family tree states that he was killed by the accidental explosion of an anti-personnel mine at Anty Cross Camp, Dalton, England. Little else is known about the circumstances, wartime censorship preventing anything but their joint funeral being reported in the "Barrow News," 2/9/1944.
Andersons Bay Cemetery, Dunedin.
