Another victim from consumption died yesterday, this time in the person of Miss Clara McKay, daughter of our well known townsman Mr Wm. McKay. She has been suffering from this insidious malady for some time, Great regret is felt by the many friends and acquaintances of Mr and Mrs McKay and their family. -West Coast Times, 11/2/1893.
The funeral of Miss Clara McKay took place yesterday afternoon and was very largely attended, a conspicuous feature being the presence of the teachers and children of the Presbyterian Sunday School. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev M r Findlay of Brunnerton. -West Coast Times, 13/2/1893.
