DEATHS

BLACKWOOD. — On November 25, at his parents' residence, 168 South road, Caversham, Dunedin, 34980 Trooper Henry Edmonds, beloved second eldest son of William and Julia. Blackwood, and brother of Mrs A. Campbell, Caversham, Trooper W. A. Blackwood (in France) and Private A. J. Blackwood (Featherston). "So loved, so mourned." He did his duty. — Funeral private, Wednesday.

The Friends of Mr and Mrs W. BLACKWOOD (and Family) are fully invited to attend the Funeral of their late SON, HENRY EDMONDS (HARRY), which will leave their Residence, 168 South road, Caversham, Dunedin, THIS DAY (WEDNESDAY), 27th inst., at 2 p.m., for the Southern Cemetery.

Trooper Henry Edmonds Blackwood, 34980, an undischarged soldier, died on 25th November. Deceased was 23 years of age, and single, his next-of-kin being his mother, Mrs. Blackwood, 168, Main South-road, Caversfoam, Dunedin.   -Evening Post, 11/12/1918.

Henry Blackwood was invalided home from the Palestine theatre of operations due to rheumatism. He died of Spanish influenza.
